First industry standard for window-cleaning robots launched. HUTT sets a new industry benchmark with its "Square & Round Order".

Hosted by the China Household Electrical Appliances Research Institute, the QB/T 8242-2026 standard dissemination seminar was held on October 13, 2026. As a participating drafter, HUTT joined regulators, test labs and industry partners to push forward standard implementation.

The window-cleaning robot market has grown rapidly yet suffered from inconsistent specifications and uneven product quality. The newly released QB/T 8242-2026 will take effect on December 1.

Led by CHEARI and co-developed by HUTT, it defines unified requirements for safety, cleaning performance, testing, marking and logistics. The standard ends fragmented industry claims and ushers in standardized, high-quality growth for the sector.

Square & Round Order, Pursue Ultimate Window-Cleaning Experience
HUTT invests over 10% of revenue in R&D. It owns nearly 100 authorized patents, 13 software copyrights and 8 high-tech enterprise certificates, mastering core technologies such as intelligent variable-frequency detection, IMU fusion filtering, path planning, mapping, obstacle avoidance and edge-cleaning algorithms. HUTT releases one innovative model annually and leads industry advances.

Launched in October 2026, the HUTT10S Square & Round Integrated Window-Cleaning Robot achieves full-coverage cleaning. Featuring upgraded full-corner pads and the SAC edge algorithm, it thoroughly cleans glass, corners and frame seams without blind spots. Every HUTT robot passes 66 quality inspections and 20 safety tests before shipment. All products carry CQC, KC, FCC, CE, RoHS and WEEE certifications valid across 54 countries and regions.

HUTT has won Red Dot, IDA and MUSE design awards. In 2026, HUTT 10 Premium claimed the Testsieger title in Germany’s ntv product test.

Worldwide Presence — HUTT available in 70+ countries
IDC data shows global window-cleaning robot shipments hit 847,000 units in Q2 2026, up 59.8% YoY, ranking it among the fastest-growing service robot segments.
HUTT pioneered the Square & Round Integrated cleaning system: round pads provide strong rotational scrubbing for deep stains, while square pads hug edges and corners with zero water streaks. This innovation redefines window-cleaning robotics and sets the industry’s future direction.

With multiple industry-first innovations, HUTT sells in over 70 countries, holding strong positions in Europe’s round window robot market and South Korea’s online market.
From the original AI variable-frequency tech to the Square & Round design, HUTT shapes industry standards via breakthrough innovation. The brand will continue contributing to standard revisions and collaborating with peers to build a healthier, better-regulated window-cleaning robot industry.
